The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is the government department responsible for representing the United Republic overseas, and overseeing and brokering trade deals between the United Republic and its global partners.
The responsibilities of MFAT include:
Managing United Republic embassies abroad
Representing the United Republic internationally
Overseeing trade between foreign nations and the United Republic
Promoting the United Republic as a destination for travel, study, work and business
